Discovery Saturdays provide an opportunity for the LASC to showcase our unique art and science offerings, support local artists and organizations, and invite a wide demographic of individuals into our building. Over the next 6 months, our Discovery Saturdays will feature Kentucky: Our Home and bring to the forefront the many ways students, organizations, cultures, and families of Kentucky make our community a safe, loving, and wonderful place to call home. On October 15th, to honor Tree Week, Discovery Educators will be focusing on the importance of pollinators and local species during Discovery Saturday and how they impact trees.
