Narrative

This tree is important to us because we both grew up in the Lexington area, and trees like this are everywhere in our beautiful city. Tree's like this are very aesthetically pleasing not only to us, but to others who visit the University of Kentucky's campus. Our tree is located directly behind the 90, where all the students eating can see it. Our tree has been around for almost 60 years for it was planted when the Kirwan and Branding towers were built. This tree is in danger because of the many construction projects that continue popping up on campus. Our goal is to continue to preserve and maintain our tree's life through these projects so it will continue to positively impact our campus.
