Narrative

This Norway spruce is important to us because it provides a great number of benefits all year long. We walk by this tree many times throughout the semester, and notice that it provides us with shade during the summer months, and protection from wind during cold winter walks to class. It is also one of only a few coniferous trees left standing near a current construction site, and we hope that this tree will continue to be protected from future development.
