Narrative

This is an enormous tree on the outside of the four buildings that include the international relations building, and it helps to add to the peacefulness that exists on the inside of this quad. It also is close to a rather busy portion of campus, and having a large, stoic tree there helps to detract from the crazy atmosphere that exists by that intersection. It's surrounded by a lot of pavement and asphalt, so its a nice, old, natural structure that helps break this up. It also helps provide shade for some of these buildings, and there were 5 squirrels there when we went so it provides natural habitats.
