Narrative

We decided to choose this tree because of its size and appearance. The tree itself is massive, as you can see in the photo. It is located right outside Garrigus which was nice as it was close by. The leaves are closely packed and bring a sense of life to the tree. It has gotten colder, yet most of the leaves haven't started changing colors yet or falling off. This tree draws in attention as it is so large and is very appealing to the eyes. It adds beauty to the already gorgeous setting of the College of Ag. The speaker talked about how trees affect brain activity and overall wellness and we believe in that 100%. Like patients in a hospital recovering quicker with a view of a tree, students can feel more focused on their school work and be motivated to get more work done when there is a tree in sight. Sometimes we do our own homework outside of Garrigus on the benches and it feels nice to just sit there peacefully.
