Narrative

The bald cypress in my backyard is about 70 feet tall. It has grassy green colored pines and sienna brown colored bark. The tree is very wide and has many levels of pine branches, if that makes sense. The tree doesn't inhabit any birds that I know of, probably because it loses its leaves in the winter. This tree is the tallest tree in my yard. It has some light green lichens on the bark of the branches, but that just makes it look even more unique. I like this tree because it's beautiful. I think it's the prettiest tree in our backyard, and it is unique because all the other trees look the same. This one is the different tree. When it loses its leaves in the winter it is always a pleasure to sled down the tiny hill and go under the tree and be able to see its barren branches. When we first moved into the house I didn't think much of this tree, I thought it was just a thing in the backyard and didn't think to appreciate it. I realized I liked this tree a lot because I would always watch the hummingbirds come to the feeder and see the tree in the background and I just thought it would make the perfect picture. The main reason I like this tree is because of the view, it's gorgeous in my backyard, but that's just my opinion. Someone else might see the tree and think "What an ugly tree." But to me the tree is perfect and inspiring.
