Narrative

We chose this tree because it has lots of memories and isn't doing so well. So many people disrespect the tree and treat it unfairly and break its branches. It has been at our school since we started going here in preschool. When we were younger we would play tag and the tree would be base. We love to use it as shade or just a place to chill. On field day we sit under there after running races and being in the hot sun. It could be a very beautiful tree, and is beautiful when it changes colors in the fall, but it hasn't been cared for well. With all the car exhaust fumes that float around it and the cracked, dry dirt underneath its roots, it's not happy. It needs mulch, topsoil, and much more water. We want it to be in as good as condition as it can be and see it thrive.
